Garage Door Installer- TAFE Students Preferred (Start ASAP)

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Trainee Garage door installer to join their team. They are looking to appoint a full-time contractor to work out of our Mulgrave facilities and on the road.

About the role

This is a trainee position. Your duties will include training to provide the following:

• A high level of customer service through installations of garage doors, gates, automation and associated products and services.
• Invoice clients
• Handover of the completed job with the client.
• Remittance and required paperwork are completed before leaving site
• OH&S policy is followed, including job safety analysis of site resulting in zero injuries.

Your Skills include

• Minimum 2 years service/trade/mechanical experience – this could be an apprenticeship or TAFE
• Drivers license
• Practical and technical skills
• Contingency and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Strong focus on customer service
• Willingness to work hard and learn
• Ability to liaise with individuals at different levels
• Well presented
• Attention to detail.
