Abaris Printing is Australia's largest locally owned food packaging plant focused on both the folding carton and label sectors.
A printing Apprentice at Abaris is trained on the world's best and most modern equipment by our experienced printers who operate at benchmark standards.
Duties include learning set-up, production/quality procedures together with maintenance practices.
Training would be both onsite and offsite (Tafe training) and include development opportunities in other departments to broaden knowledge and skill levels.
The remuneration opportunities are generous with benefits including regular overtime, shift loadings and superannuation.
Career progression involves moving on a clear path of equipment technology until the applicant can fully utilize the Press with the highest level of quality and progression through the apprenticeship. Routine salary reviews are conducted to reflect this.
