Job Description: As a Junior Travel Consultant in Wholesale/Documentation, you will embark on an exciting entry-level journey into the Travel Wholesale industry. This role offers abundant opportunities for learning and growth within our organization, with the potential to become a travel specialist in key destinations.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones courteously and efficiently.
  • Directing agents/clients to the appropriate consultant or staff member.
  • Taking messages and managing a database.
  • Assisting senior staff in booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and handling special requests.
  • Delivering high-level customer service and aiding in visa applications.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for final documentation, including itinerary checks for dates, rooming, and flights.
  • Processing final itineraries and generating vouchers.
  • Compiling and emailing documents, including air tickets, to travelers or travel agencies.
  • Tracking lost paperwork and managing document changes or re-issuances.

Requirements:

  • Completed or near completion of a Certificate IV in Tourism.
  • Professional appearance and clear, comprehensible communication skills.
  • Accurate message-taking abilities.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Multi-tasking abilities and the capability to work under deadlines.
  • Training in Galileo (preferred but not essential).
  • Team player with the discipline to self-manage while working from home.
