Byfields Belmont office has an opening for a Graduate Accountant to join our professional accounting team.

Your day-to-day duties will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements
  • Income tax returns
  • Track the flow of completed tax returns
  • Activity statements for companies and trusts, partnerships & individuals
  • Ensure compliance obligations are met.
  • Assist Director & manager in resolving general client queries.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • University degree in accounting (or working towards)
  • Self-motivation, determination, and confidence in your abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Numeracy and a strong aptitude for mathematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • A keen interest in the financial system
  • Ability to work to deadlines under pressure.

Solid communication and time management skills, a strong work ethic, and high attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as a team.
