Job responsibilities:

• Learn the trade:
  • The primary responsibility of an apprentice worker is to learn the trade they are working in. They should be actively observing and practicing the skills and techniques needed to become proficient in their trade.
• Attend training sessions:
  • Apprenticeships typically include classroom training sessions in trades school training. Apprentice workers are responsible for attending these training sessions and completing any coursework assigned.
• Assist skilled workers:
  • Apprentice workers assist skilled workers in completing tasks and projects. They should be eager to learn and willing to take on new responsibilities as they progress in their apprenticeship.
• Follow safety protocols:
  • Apprentice workers must follow all safety protocols and guidelines set forth by their employer. This includes wearing protective gear, following safety procedures, and reporting any safety concerns.
• Maintain tools and equipment:
  • Apprentice workers should provide their own necessary hand/power tools. And they should be responsible for maintaining the tools and equipment used in their trade.
  • This includes cleaning and organizing tools and ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Demonstrate professionalism:
  • Apprentice workers should demonstrate professionalism at all times.
  • This includes showing up on time, dressing appropriately, communicating effectively, and behaving respectfully towards co-workers and customers.
