We provide a peaceful and relaxing space for guests and the ideal candidate will be passionate about creating meals that are nourishing and delicious.
Responsibilities:
- Cooking for groups as required, including the ability to cater for a variety of dietary requirements
- Making sure the kitchen is a safe and hygienic place to work
- Keeping kitchen and equipment clean including floors, gas stoves and ovens
- Organise the planning of menus for food ordering
- Mainly weekends, some evenings and split shifts when needed
- Open to negotiate full-time if willing to undertake some general cleaning when not cooking
Requirements:
- Health and safety/food hygiene qualifications
- Minimum of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
- Work as part of a team
- Requirement to work shifts when needed, including some evenings and weekends
- Able to work quickly and safely with minimal supervision
- Physically able to bend, lift and stand for long periods of time
- Good personal hygiene and free from allergies to foods and detergents
