Your role

Join the 12-week internship program at the Brisbane manufacturing and research and development facility. During this unique program, you will have the opportunity to apply your qualifications while learning and developing new skills in a highly respected, global medical device company. Be part of Cook Medical's mission to invent, manufacture and deliver medical devices to the healthcare systems of the world, a wide range of experience, knowledge and strengths. Responsibilities

During your internship, you will gain exposure and experience across continuous improvement, product development and process engineering teams, utilising your existing technical abilities whilst learning new skills within a supported and structured professional environment.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Engineering undergraduate students completing at least third-year studies with an interest in medical devices
  • Available for 12 weeks between 18 November 2024 to 14 February 2025, 38 hours per week
  • Onsite attendance at Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane
  • Clear written and verbal English comprehension and communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be able to take directions and follow instructions
  • Take pride in your work with a focus on quality
  • Have a responsible and professional attitude
