We now have a full-time onsite opportunity available for a Recruitment & HR Administrator, to join our team located at our Head Office in Box Hill.

About the role:
Your primary focus will be filling job openings by recruiting and onboarding talented employees in a dynamic work setting whilst also providing administrative assistance and being part of the HR team.

This role reports to the People and Performance Manager and is ideal for either an entry-level HR graduate or an experienced recruiter. This exciting new position offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to different aspects of HR.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake recruitment activities including candidate searches using recruitment platforms;
  • Write adverts and post on the intranet, internal noticeboards, and on various sites including SEEK, Indeed, VACC, LinkedIn etc.;
  • Provide support to Branch Managers with screening and shortlisting candidates and arranging interviews;
  • Administer letters of offer and generate relevant contracts to ensure employment records are signed and up to date;
  • Maintain database of all contracts and variations of contracts issued;
  • Maintain database records and files (HRIS) including employee records and performance management data; and
  • Perform any necessary HR administration tasks on an ad hoc basis.

You will possess:

  • Tertiary education or certificate preferred;
  • Passion for everything recruitment and/or the HR industry;
  • Recruitment experience in a similar role (advantageous);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • High level of initiative, flexibility and resourcefulness;
  • Strong computer skills especially with Microsoft Office Suite; and
  • Knowledge of Employment Hero (desirable).
