Overview: Dental Practice in St Kilda is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant or Trainee Dental Assistant to join their friendly team. Responsibilities:

• Assist the dental team during patient procedures
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
• Sterilize instruments following infection control protocols
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Educate patients on dental procedures and post-treatment care
• Handle patient inquiries and schedule appointments
• Ensure compliance with dental practice policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Adherence to infection control practices, including sterilization procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
