Your role:
The Graduate Policy will work on significant policy development and legislative reform for the transport industry. The officer will develop subject matter expertise about the transport sector, as well as core legislative interpretation, policy analysis and stakeholder engagement skills. You will undertake research and analyse data, and work with the team to develop policy solutions that consider a variety of perspectives from the community and industry.
The Industry Accreditation Policy team leads policy and legislative reforms related to a broad range of transport industry accreditation schemes, with a specific focus on ensuring the safety of our roads. The team is part of TMR's Land Transport Safety and Regulation Branch, which delivers a range of safety, regulation, and advisory services to provide for the safety and resilience of the Queensland transport system.
