Downer Group is currently looking for the below trades and/ or occupations to be undertaken as apprenticeships or traineeships:
- Electrotechnology Electrical
- Electrical Lineworker (Overhead)
- Cable Jointer (Underground)
- Engineering Mechanical
- Engineering Fabrication
- Industrial Painter; and
- Planner.
Your responsibilities as an Apprentice or Trainee will include, but not limited to:
- Attend all scheduled training and complete TAFE modules within set timeframes; and
- Learn new skills and engage in their training opportunities onsite.
About you:

Essential Skills:
- Willingness to learn and curious nature;
- Open and friendly communication style; and
- A positive attitude towards work and study.
- Desirable Skills
If you are willing to grow with them, please apply, even if you do not match all the requirements below:
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination;
- Strong mechanical aptitude, if applicable;
- Completion of Year 12 School Certificate or equivalent, desirable;
- Completion of any relevant pre-apprenticeship is desirable;
- Current Driver’s license, desirable; and
- Available to commence approximately in June/ July 2023.
