Downer Group is currently looking for the below trades and/ or occupations to be undertaken as apprenticeships or traineeships:

• Electrotechnology Electrical
• Electrical Lineworker (Overhead)
• Cable Jointer (Underground)
• Engineering Mechanical
• Engineering Fabrication
• Industrial Painter; and
• Planner.

Your responsibilities as an Apprentice or Trainee will include, but not limited to:

• Attend all scheduled training and complete TAFE modules within set timeframes; and
• Learn new skills and engage in their training opportunities onsite.

Essential Skills:

• Willingness to learn and curious nature;
• Open and friendly communication style; and
• A positive attitude towards work and study.
• Desirable Skills

If you are willing to grow with them, please apply, even if you do not match all the requirements below:

• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination;
• Strong mechanical aptitude, if applicable;
• Completion of Year 12 School Certificate or equivalent, desirable;
• Completion of any relevant pre-apprenticeship is desirable;
• Current Driver’s license, desirable; and
• Available to commence approximately in June/ July 2023.
