Fumigation Technicians conduct biosecurity treatments of cargo onboard vessels, at port terminals and on-shore storage facilities. Treatments can take place at all hours of the day and night, 7 days a week, and there is a lot of driving involved with many nights away from home. Sometimes the work requires transport by helicopter or launch boat, and you will be required to qualify for a Marine Security clearance.
