Apprentice Lift Technician (Electrical) - TAFE Students Preferred null

Position description

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevator systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of elevators.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with elevator equipment, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Collaborate with team members to complete service calls and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

• The ideal Candidate will be 18 years old. We are not looking to employ adult apprentices.
• Currently enrolled in a pre-apprenticeship program for electricians.
• Strong interest in the elevator industry and a desire to build a long-term career as a Lift ServiceTechnician.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to safety and willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Strong desire to succeed.
