2023 Netball Coordinator - TAFE Students Preferred null

To be successful as an HFNC Netball Coordinator, you should show great communication and leadership skills, a background in Sports Admin/Competition Operations (or an eager willingness to learn) and an understanding of netball or other similar sports environment. This role would suit someone studying Sports Administration and/ or who has an interest in sports and being involved in the community.

Primary responsibilities for the role of Coordinator of Netball include:

• Pre-Season
  • Coordinate the appointment of all netball coaches and other key leadership positions.
  • Coordinate the appointment of all netball team managers, umpires and other team support staff.
  • Coordinate the player recruitment and team selection process with the committee and netball coaches.
  • Coordinate preseason training and practice matches
• During Season
  • Be the first point of contact for players and coaches.
  • Coordinate rescheduled matches to ensure all teams and supporters have access to the correct facilities, scoresheets, and equipment.
  • Review the performance of all coaches with regular feedback - includes a formal review at mid-season and end of the season.
  • Oversee and support match-day operations
