Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control tests on thermoplastic compounds to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure laboratory processes and practices comply with safety regulations
• Research new materials, test new processes, and improve existing products

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Number of batches rejected due to quality issues
• Percentage of batches meeting quality standards
• Turnaround time for quality testing
• Time is taken to perform specific tasks
• Number of batches tested per day
• Percentage of downtime due to maintenance or other issues
• Percentage of corrective actions completed within a specified timeframe
• Number of new products developed
• Percentage of cost savings achieved through process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Polymer, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience with laboratory testing equipment and software
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
