Our team is growing and we are currently seeking qualified people to join us in the position of Patient Service Assistant at our Angliss Hospital location, based in Upper Ferntree Gully, Victoria.

You will be employed on a permanent part-time basis.

The Position:

• Spot cleaning and cleaning any spillage or overflow of liquids, overflow from sinks, body spills, and other human waste
• Duties as directed by nursing staff
• Clean linen distribution/Dirty linen collection
• Patient Movement/Coordination Service - assisting with patient lifts and transfers
• Patient-related equipment management and distribution service
• Assisting Kitchen and Cleaning staff as directed
• Interior and Exterior cleaning as directed
• Cleaning toilets, showers, and bathrooms

Minimum Criteria:

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (or equivalent) mandatory
• Full Training will be provided
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential 
• Must hold a valid Working with Children Card (or be willing to obtain one)
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
• Genuine interest in working with can caring for people
