Little to no experience is required (however a pre app is beneficial) but successful candidate must be punctual, reliable, hard-working and eager to learn and work in a team environment.  School leaver or 1st or 2nd year apprentice plumber looking for a fresh start. Wages are above industry standard.

We are a small building and plumbing company located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We deal in both domestic and commercial with a focus on property development. Successful candidate will be immersed in all aspects of the construction industry. You will be exposed to a broad range of skills and knowledge of all aspects of plumbing and roofing.

Apprentice Plumber Responsibilities:

  • Locate and identify the source of leaks
  • Work with the plumber to assess clients’ plumbing problems and repair them.
  • Cut and install new pipes
  • Repair old pipes
  • Help with the preparation of estimates for clients
  • Respond to clients’ questions and answer them to the best of your abilities
  • Follow the plumber’s instructions while on the job and perform the tasks that they assign
  • Use a variety of tools to complete your jobs

What tasks does an apprentice plumber complete?

An apprentice plumber may complete a variety of tasks as they work to support the plumber they’re working with. They spend time identifying the plumbing issues that clients are facing and repairing them. This often involves finding and fixing leaks, replacing busted pipes, and using a variety of tools to accomplish other plumbing tasks such as installing new fixtures and unclogging drains.
