Position description

The Role:

As a Kingston Program Leader, you will work in a supportive environment, and be well-paid and highly respected as a Leader in the industry. The benefits you will receive as a member of our team include:

Key responsibilities of the program leader role:

  • Provide leadership and support to a fantastic team of Educators.

  • Develop and implement a diverse and stimulating program, that matches the needs of the children within your care.

  • Encourage and maintain an outstanding quality standard throughout the service.

  • Assist in establishing daily routines and create appropriate limits and boundaries for children to encourage positive behaviour.

  • Become part of the school community by building solid, positive relationships with school leaders and families/carers.

What you need to succeed at Kingston OSHC:

  • A Bachelor of Education is desirable but not essential. A minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (All approved qualifications can be found on the AECQA website - IF YOU ARE STUDYING AN APPROVED COURSE YOU CAN WORK WITH US!!)

  • Experience leading an Outside School Hours Program

  • Exceptional Leadership skills and experience in Leading teams of Educators

  • Sound knowledge of My Time, Our Place and the National Quality Standards

  • Effective communication skills
