About Knox Audiology: Knox Audiology is a locally owned and operated hearing and specialist medical clinic committed to improving the lives of our patients by enhancing their hearing abilities. For nearly three decades, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional care while also contributing to global change through the B1G1 global giving program. Our team of 15 professionals serves individuals of all ages across our community from our clinics in Wantirna, Boronia, Balwyn North, and Doreen. We also have a team of ENT Specialists, an Endocrinologist, a Neurosurgeon, a Rheumatologist, and a Vestibular Physiotherapist consulting at our Wantirna clinic.

About the Role: We are seeking a friendly and compassionate receptionist to join our team working 3-4 days per week to support our Audiologists and Specialists in caring for the health of our local community. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet patients at the front desk.
  • Accurate data entry into practice management software.
  • Answer phone inquiries and schedule appointments.
  • Handle Medicare, DVA, Hearing Services Program, and WorkCover invoicing and claims.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including scanning, correspondence, filing, and report typing.
  • Provide support with hearing aid troubleshooting and minor repairs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Passion for helping others and a commitment to meaningful work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a professional phone manner.
  • Strong organization and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail for managing various hearing aid models and serial numbers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
