Manhari Metals opened its doors to scrap metal recycling in 2007 and has grown to become a renowned name in Victoria’s Metal Recycling industry since. Manhari International started by opening its gates to public and industrial drop off only and slowly started industrial pickups by taking advantage of its fleet of trucks.
Position Description
Your primary responsibilities;
- Coordinating vehicle operations to pick up and deliver bins in line with expectations.
- Booking jobs and completing paperwork to enable these deliveries.
- Support the general operational and administrative requirements of the business, including recording jobs, planning job routes for efficient and on-time deliveries, reviewing and recording driver run sheets daily, and responding to customer complaints and feedback.
- Answering phone calls, emails, and messages from customers.
- Providing pricing and other information to customers about the job process.
- Booking customers' jobs and communicating with the transport drivers.
- Answering queries from customers and providing them with information.
- Also communicating customer/supplier information to the sales department personnel.
- Following up with customers to obtain feedback as to their experience with them.
- Contact regular customers to book services.
- Invoicing customers where necessary.
- Liaising with other people and companies they deal with and providing bookings or information as required.
- Verification of daily invoices/Dockets and the accuracy of the pricing and dockets.
- Coordinate between Manhari drivers and Transportation Manager and Collect, Assess the dropbox completed by all the Manhari Drivers.

- A good transport coordinator is in constant communication with customers & drivers during the entire process to ensure the operation is smooth and efficient.
