Managers at McGrathNicol have been phenomenal. I have had the opportunity to work closely with a range of managers over the past year and they have all been amazing mentors and have been keen to impart their knowledge and experience.

The managers in my service line are very accessible. You can schedule regular catch ups and they are very caring about your development. They provide feedback and recognition adequately.

Managers are very accessible. All of them have been in your shoes within the last 5-7 years and show an interest in seeing you develop your technical and soft skills. My managers will often give me informal feedback outside of our formal performance cycle and always recognise extra effort where you've put the work in.

Everyone is assigned a Counselling Manager and Counselling Partner who are there to mentor you and oversee your career progression. Given how close the team is you can also end up with informal mentor who fills a similar role. We have formal ways for performance feedback to be given and requested within the rewards cycle, but management is also very good at giving on the spot feedback and recognition as the need occurs.

The managers I have encountered are more than happy to assist and guide you in your path. They understand that you are very new and have lots of questions and will need time to develop. They are more than happy to invest the time in you.

Fortunate to have a great manager/partner mentorship, along with a very good buddy. Feedback is given when due, communication is high and praise is also provided adequately.

The managers, particularly in my team, are fantastic. Very caring and empathetic, but also supportive in helping you to chase work that you're interested in and to challenge you. Communication and feedback are very thorough, and a respectful process. Praise is not overdone, but genuinely delivered when deserved.
