We have recently taken over a joinery factory in Seaford and with this growth, we are presently seeking to appoint a Qualified Full Time Cabinet Maker / 1st to 3rd Year Apprentice to join our team. We work with some of Melbourne's best Architects on jobs in hospitality and commercial fit-outs. We are looking for someone that is keen to learn the skills and knowledge required to be successful in this industry.

Role Overview: As a Cabinet Maker at MIC Projects, you will be a vital part of our skilled team, contributing to the creation of exceptional projects. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Interpret and work from builders' plans with precision.
  2. Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship.
  3. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
  4. Ability to work independently and efficiently without constant supervision.
  5. Supervise and mentor apprentices, sharing your expertise.
  6. Proficiency in computer operations for project-related tasks.
  7. Uphold and promote a high standard of workplace safety.
  8. Possess a valid driver's license (preferred).

Qualifications and Must-Haves:

  1. Qualified Cabinet Making experience.
  2. Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  3. Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  4. Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
