Who you are:

  • You are someone with a high level of attention to detail - you understand the importance of getting the little things done well;
  • You have some knowledge of or exposure to glazing construction methods or factory procedures;
  • You are organised with excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise conflicting demands;
  • You are comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines, you thrive in a busy and dynamic workplace;

  • You build and maintain rapport with others easily, you are a people person and enjoy providing excellent customer service to clients;

This role will work closely with the rest of the team at Miglas to deliver the highest quality Australian-made and designed double-glazed windows and doors. The successful candidate will bring skills from their prior experience as a glazier in order to:

  • Operate industrial fabrication equipment (saws, punches, drills, routers, hand tools) in the process of preparing windows and doors.
  • Lead and construct workshop joinery and associated components;
  • Coordinate administrative tasks as required by production;
  • Communicate with clients and represent Miglas Windows;
  • Apply measurements and calculations using appropriate equipment to assess the requirements of jobs;
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
