Your role

They are looking for a recent Marketing/Business/Engineering graduate to join their Procurement team. Your responsibility will be to work with business requirements and specifications to support the Nissan Procurement team to achieve the overall corporate objective of lower operating costs and ease of doing business.

  • Category Management - instilling and managing procurement discipline across key internal Business Unit stakeholders and vendors.
  • Vendors - Consolidation and rationalisation of vendors to enable economies of scale/synergy and leverage of Group Spend in each category
  • Stakeholder Management - Partnering with internal stakeholders by adding a value proposition to Procurement's involvement in their team and associated processes.
  • Compliance - Practice, promote, monitor, report, and lead on all policies, procedures, ethics, and governance issues in pursuit of adherence to compliant practices

About you

Here's what Nissan is looking for in this role:

  • Tertiary qualification in either Procurement, business; Commerce, and/or related category i.e. marketing.
  • Exposure to basic marketing sourcing concepts would be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Spreadsheets, databases, Business Systems, and Communication software (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, SAP, etc.)
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally across a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and lateral thinking skills.
  • High level of business acumen and commercially focused with strong negotiation skills.
  • Committed to developing and investing time in the growth of the consolidated Procurement principle.
  • A hands-on implementer with experience in developing procurement processes and reporting in a relatively new and evolving business area.
