Join our Melbourne-based team as a Network AutoCAD Designer, where you’ll create and plan advanced Fibre Networks for Broadacre developments, Integrated Communications Networks (ICN), and Multi-Dwelling Units (MDU). In this role, you'll also participate in the development and enhancement of design guidelines. Be a part of a forward-thinking team and help shape the future of telecommunications.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Produce fibre network designs in AutoCAD and DAD, including detailed splicing layouts
  • Create and maintain design documentation for pit pipe and fibre standards, ensuring adherence to quality control processes
  • Review and optimize design standards for enhanced network flexibility and cost efficiency
  • Design fibre networks for Multi Dwelling Units (MDUs) and develop pit and pipe networks using AutoCAD
  • Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for both Broadacre developments and MDUs
  • Provide regular design status updates and maintain accurate project documentation records
  • Ensure compliance with document control procedures and engage with project managers for optimal design outcomes
  • Address customer issues within DAD and other Telco portals by maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborate with contractors to achieve the best results from design implementations
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of design guidelines and processes
