Your role

The Physical Market Trading Analyst role is an entry point that provides you with the opportunity to gain the knowledge and experience required to become an Energy Trader. In addition to undertaking an in-house training program, as an Analyst, you will support Energy Traders in their day-to-day dealings on the electricity spot market or physical gas markets.

Responsibilities will include:

• Examining short-term gas and electricity market conditions and operational considerations
• Interacting with plant operators and market operators to execute strategies
• Participating in project work to implement changes to the operating environment
