Your role

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal services that meet the highest professional standards 
  • Investigate the facts of a case, including by taking and recording client instructions
  • Briefing counsel and experts
  • Under the supervision of a lawyer, prepare drafts of letters of advice to clients, and correspondence to third parties
  • Triaging and contacting new client enquiries
  • Collating evidence and conducting discovery reviews
  • Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles
  • Organising and maintaining documents in a paper and electronic filing system
  • Gathering and arranging evidence and other legal documents for review and case preparation
  • Writing reports and memoranda
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents
  • Handling exhibits, taking notes, or reviewing transcripts
  • Meeting all admission to practice requirements
  • Contribute to a workplace culture that is highly professional but relaxed and fun, that is efficient and outcome-focussed, and which encourages collaboration and creativity irrespective of seniority
  • Perform such other duties as directed and necessary for the proper performance of the role
