Make a real difference in a growing company by joining us as a full-time marketing coordinator at our Gardenvale office in Melbourne’s bayside. The key criteria is the ability to write engaging copy on a technical subject.

You will be writing, collating, and editing content across our website, social media, and print, and digital advertising. The role is also an opportunity to develop or extend your copywriting skills to pay-per-click advertising and search engine optimisation.

QMS Audits is an established Food Safety and Quality Management Consultancy. We are the largest independent, Australian-owned provider of food safety training in Australia.
Our common goal as a team is to demystify what can appear to be a complex subject so companies can use straightforward quality management systems to produce safe products. We need a marketing coordinator who is as committed to this goal as we are.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Write great copy with strong SEO on a technical subject
• Edit and hone a series of websites, including the main QMS Audits website
• Co-ordinate and write EDMs and printed mailouts
• Write and edit blogs
• Assist with the day-to-day management of paid-per-click advertising.
• Execute the marketing plan with lots of support from the directors.

The successful candidate will have: 

• A degree in marketing, communications, or public relations from a university or TAFE
• A clear, concise writing style that is engaging
• Strong project management skills - able to take ideas and a marketing plan and execute them in a timely fashion
• A willingness to contribute to a team effort
• The ability to handle a fast-paced, growing small business environment. 

The marketing coordinator reports directly to both owners of the business, working alongside a web developer and graphic designer. Management of Google Adwords is a key strength of our business and currently makes up a significant proportion of our marketing budget. However, we need to build up our SEO capabilities. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in writing great copy with strong SEO but we are prepared to offer training for the right person.
