Position Description

The responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Reception duties (answering phone calls, handling mail, booking appointments, filing etc)
  • Assisting a team of Estimators in preparing and distributing quotes
  • Maintaining tenders, jobs and quote registers
  • Lodging and obtaining a variety of permits through local councils and building surveyors
  • Preparing documentations including, SWMS, schedules, demolition management plans, site plans, traffic management plans etc
  • General office and kitchen clean up and maintenance
  • Assisting Accounts Receivable and Payable if required
  • Other adhoc duties as directed by Management and the Financial Controller

To be successful in this role, ideally, you will possess the following:

  • An excellent phone manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the Building industry (preferable but not essential)
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Intermediate MS Office skills - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Previous Accounts Receivable and Debt Collection experience

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Free parking is available on site, a 15-minute walk from the Oakleigh Train Station.
