Role Overview:

The Graduate Broker Assistant plays a vital role in servicing and expanding our client portfolio by providing support to our senior brokers. This multifaceted role involves various responsibilities to ensure seamless customer service, efficient operations, and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and compile new business quotes and renewals.
• Deliver high-quality customer service with prompt turnaround times for clients, brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to overall account management and debtor management.
• Identify opportunities to enhance internal business processes through technology and process improvements.
• Gather pertinent client information and pinpoint key issues to support brokers.
• Maintain 100% accuracy in documentation and policies for both external and internal clients and procedures.
• Stay informed about industry trends by participating in internal and external training sessions, industry seminars, and related activities.
• Execute tasks in alignment with best business practices, adhering to ethical and professional standards with utmost integrity.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, we are seeking a graduate with the following qualifications and skills:

• Business or Commerce qualifications.
• Strong mathematical abilities.
• Willingness to complete Tier 1 or Tier 2 Insurance Broking qualifications upon commencement, with full support from the company.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with effective presentation skills.
• Proficiency in administration with a keen eye for detail.
• A strong commitment to delivering excellent client service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel skills.
