ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine required materials and dimensions.
• Install structures and fixtures
• Construct formwork for structures such as walls, slabs and footpath
• Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
• Help erect, level, and install formwork with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
• Inspect and replace damaged formwork or other structures and fixtures

ABOUT YOU:

• Currently working on/starting on Certificate III in Carpentry
• Experience working with power tools
• Basic knowledge of construction site best practices and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of the team
• Have a high standard of quality workmanship
