The company culture is great. I have not faced any negative culture yet. The graduate team do organise social events every once in a while. My team is also quite helpful

Our company's culture is friendly and collaborative, both in the office and after hours. In the office, we have a flat structure that allows easy communication with management and encourages teamwork across departments.

At Western Power, the company culture fosters a collaborative and supportive environment both in the office and after hours. In the office, there is a strong emphasis on teamwork and cooperation across various departments. The structure is hierarchical, but the management is approachable, and communication flows well across all levels, allowing employees to work closely with senior leaders when needed. People here are highly supportive, which creates an open and positive atmosphere. Employees are encouraged to share knowledge and resources to solve problems efficiently, and teamwork is a key component in delivering successful projects. After hours, socializing among colleagues is also encouraged, with various team-building events and informal gatherings. This helps strengthen relationships beyond the workplace and contributes to a cohesive, friendly work culture. There's a good balance between professional and social interactions, which allows people to connect on a personal level while maintaining the professionalism needed for their roles.

Everyone is friendly, there is a surface level feeling of constant stepping on eggshells when it comes to perceptions and what you produce.

This honestly depends on the area you are in. GT itself has a really good area culture in my opinion. They encourage people to grow and learn. In the office, it is pretty lively and everyone seems to get along with each other so it makes it a comfortable area to ask questions and grow yourself.

Although the structure of my team is well outlined with manager/team leaders/specialists/coordinators, however, there is no divide among the different levels. Everyone encourages and implements cooperation and teamwork and as a result, the culture is an enjoyable one.

It is very difficult to work done when the project is multi-disciplinary. Apart from that, there are often smaller projects assigned to graduates to give them a variety of perspectives with collaboration among the team. There is good work life balance, but sometimes the work is not interesting.

Office culture during office hours is great. There is a lot of knowledge sharing, collaboration between work colleagues, and fairly high morale although team members are quite stressed with the amount of work and reluctance for upper management to hire more staff. Office culture after hours appears to be minimal although there is a social club available.

This will heavily depend on your division; people in data analytics are great to work with and have a KPI-driven yet laid back culture. The structure from 'highest' rank to 'lowest rank' is: head of function, area manager, team leader, senior team members, 'normal' team members, graduates, vacationers. When approached, people are always nice. However, it can be hard to approach sometimes as everyone is very busy due to the division being fairly under-resourced and therefore people working extra hard to meet deadlines. Lots of social events all year round, cultural celebrations (such as Diwali), farewell events, etc.

Positive working culture during office hours - people show respect, are willing to provide support when asked and generally seem to like coming to work each day. Some people are happy "coasting" and let other people pick up the slack Teams will regularly socialise outside of work and team building events are encouraged.

Within team the business is very collaborative but between teams this can be limited. The culture is very much development focused and work life balance is encouraged.
