Diversity at William Buck

The firm has a strong commitment to diversity and is very inclusive of everybody from what I have experienced.

Our firm prides itself on its equality, that being the equality of race, gender religion etc. Everyone is welcome and people are treated based on merit rather than any other metric. As a person who is quite different in terms of race and religion I can honestly say I have never thought twice about it. I feel like i belong and that everyone treats me as I deserve.

I feel as a workplace we seem very diverse in our ethnicity, walks of life and orientation.

From what I have seen, William Buck appears to be very diverse in both bodies and minds.

I think the company is inclusive and maintains a good commitment to diversity with the inclusion of events for celebrations of different cultures but I feel I can only comment on this from an outsiders perspective.

I think the firms commitment to diversity is pretty good, the firm is about half women (i think?) and there are also a diverse range of ethnicities across the firm as well as people from the LGBTIQA+ community. I think the leadership group is probably more heavily stacked with men but there has definitely been an increase in the number of women in leadership in the time I have been there so that is certainly moving in the right direction.

We have a good mix of diverse people - we probably have more men than women working in our firm, but it is almost even which is better than other companies. Maternity leave for women is supported as well as new mother's returning to the workplace are given flexible working arrangements in order to pick up children from childcare and so forth.

We have a Diversity committee who hold events, spread awareness, and create an inclusive environment for all cultures and beliefs.

I think there is a great diversity at William Buck, especially with a diversity committee promoting that.

There is a Diversity & Inclusion Committee that is open to suggestions from staff.

Culture as far as hiring women and international students seems to be strong. However, most directors are white and almost all are men, so more work to be done in diversifying upper levels.
