Your role

The engine powering the Workday platform serves over 37 million users, allowing developers to build on a unified code line. This architecture enables faster insights for users, allowing them to seamlessly continue with their business operations.

The Discovery team, based in Brisbane, Australia, takes the lead in developing Workday Adaptive Planning's data visualization and integration tools, as well as the product's UI components. Within the organization, this team is known for its dynamic and supportive nature, consistently delivering high-quality software. They are a diverse and positive group, fostering an easy-going environment where team members enjoy activities such as playing board games and constructing LEGO® sets. The team's leadership emphasizes support and flexibility, actively promoting a healthy work-life balance.

As a new graduate joining the team, you will contribute to projects that are vital in expanding Adaptive Planning's capabilities and establishing its leadership in business planning. Additionally, you will play a role in helping the company scale to serve a significantly larger enterprise market. It is expected that you demonstrate leadership qualities and possess a genuine enthusiasm for technology. This drive will motivate you to continually deepen your knowledge, share insights, and apply your skills across the entire software stack. Working as a member of a scrum team, alongside junior and senior engineers, quality assurance specialists, and product managers, you will be involved in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of various product features.

About you

Basic Qualifications:

• Will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Can apply fundamental computer science and programming concepts to solving problems
• Have interest or experience in modern object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or TypeScript
• Have interest or experience in modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Self-directed and highly motivated
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Approachable and coachable
• Open-minded and flexible, with a can-do attitude
