Graduate training begins in part two of our project management workshop. In this training, we learn how to manage a project in two parts, both are relatively practical, and I found it quite useful. This training was also organised to prepare us for the Major Project we are undertaking.

I would say just enjoy the ride that university can take you on as it can be up and down like having a job. The ride or journey is what can make the experience special. Also, travel and experience what the world has to offer as when you start a full-time job there are not as many opportunities in the first few years. Another piece of advice would be to ensure you keep and cherish the friendships you make when your students as they can become close friends for life.

This would involve me downloading a client’s prefill report from the ATO portal and going through each section to see if there’s anything I must look at, while simultaneously looking at the work papers given to me by the client and working through each document and inputting the details into the tax return.
