The inception of The Bayside Beer Belt can be traced back to late 2020 when Nat Wilson, the visionary founder of the Bayside Beer Belt and Kingston Collective, embarked on a quest to explore her local bayside region. To her delight, she stumbled upon a remarkable revelation - an abundance of craft breweries and distilleries clustered closely together within this small geographical area.

In early 2021, during a lull between Melbourne lockdowns, Natalie seized the opportunity to introduce Craft Beer & Spirit Tours to the community. These tours served a dual purpose: to provide a fun-filled activity for the locals and, more significantly, to shine a spotlight on and extend support to the flourishing local breweries and distilleries.

The year that followed brought an auspicious turn, when, in January 2022, the Kingston Collective were granted a State Government Agribusiness Grant. This recognition further fueled their determination to develop the craft brewery tours into an accessible and captivating region, inviting both locals and visitors to immerse themselves in its unique offerings.

From that grant, the Bayside Beer Belt was born and developed into Victoria's first dedicated beer region. The bespoke, interactive, educational, and entertaining tours have become a platform to showcase the distinctive craft community of the Bayside area. Visitors are presented with two tour experience options, allowing them to tailor their exploration of this captivating corridor according to their preferences.

Through The Bayside Beer Belt, Nat Wilson's vision of fostering a lively craft beverage community and providing an enjoyable and educational experience for all has come to fruition. With each tour, participants are invited to savor the essence of the local craftsmanship, embark on a journey of discovery, and celebrate the vibrancy of the Bayside region's craft culture.
