Recruitment Process

1. Application Submission:

Documents Required: Candidates should submit their CV, a cover letter, and any relevant academic transcripts. Please also include a copy of your ID.
Application Review: We carefully review all applications to shortlist candidates who best match the qualifications and experience we’re looking for.

2. Phone Interview:

Timing: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within one week of application review for a phone interview.
Duration: The phone interview typically lasts 15-20 minutes.
Conducted by: Our Centre Director or HR representative.
Purpose: This initial conversation is to understand your interest in the role, your experience, and to answer any preliminary questions you might have about the position.

3. In-Person Interview:

Number of Interviews: Successful candidates from the phone interview and assessment stages will be invited for one or two in-person interviews.
Conducted by: Interviews will typically be conducted by our Centre Director and one of our senior staff members.
Duration: Each interview lasts approximately 20-30 minutes.
Focus: We ask a mix of behavioural and situational questions, and may discuss your approach to early childhood education, your experience, and how you handle various scenarios in a childcare setting.

5. Assessment Centre or Talent Trial:

Timing: For some roles, especially those involving direct work with children, candidates may be invited to participate in an assessment centre or talent trial.
Duration: This will typically take half a day.
Involves: This may include practical exercises, role-playing scenarios, and group activities to assess your interactions with children and staff.

6. Final Selection:

Criteria: We look for candidates who are passionate about early childhood education, have a positive attitude, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
Common Traits of Successful Applicants: Successful applicants are typically proactive, empathetic, and committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.

7. Offer and Onboarding:

Timing: Candidates who successfully pass all stages will receive an offer within a week.
Onboarding: We have a comprehensive onboarding process that includes training and orientation to ensure you are well-prepared to start your journey with us.
