We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator (Diploma Qualified) to join us at our newly renovated Early Learning Centre in Mulgrave.

Our service can cater for 28 children aged 0-5 years and provides an exceptional newly refurbished indoor and outdoor-play environment so that our children can experience the wonder and beauty of nature, and develop motor skills, confidence, and an awareness of sustainability.

The role

  • Your role as an Educator is to provide a nurturing, happy and stimulating learning environment for the children in your care.
  • Working with the Educational leader, you will assist in providing thoughtful and meaningful programs based on the diversity of learners in our centre. You will focus on putting children’s rights first and give each child a sense of belonging, being and becoming.

Your day includes:

  • Create a stimulating, positive and fun environment for the children
  • Ensure learning and development are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
    Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
  • Writing observations and analysing children's progression and development
  • Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers.
  • Our philosophy is promoting children's interest through play-based learning.
  • Ability to work full-time hours to a rotating roster.
