Cochlear's Summer Student Program places students into a stream for the entire period of time. Your performance as an intern will determine your suitability as a permanent, graduate employee.

This year, our Summer Student Program involves more teams than ever before and we were therefore looking for the best of the best students.

At this stage, we do not intend to complete Technical assessments. However, this may change due to the competitive nature of our candidates.

  • There is a lack of work especially for grads, and unrealistic utilisation expectations.
  • Too much bureaucracy. Not enough promotions & raises
  • Not all the teams have the same level of leadership. This leads to varying levels of being overworked or under-managed.
  • Progressing slowly. There are not many opportunities for rotations in different teams.
  • Pay is below my experience level.
