Your role:

• This appointment will be working within a highly collaborative and well-established professional group of experienced teachers and educators to provide quality early learning for the 4-year-old groups.
• Their teaching team works well together and is open and constructive, and positive communication and interaction are expected and encouraged.

Work Day/Hours of the Role: 

4-year-old kinder program

Friday 

• 4 year old kinder program
  • Contact: 7 hours 8.30am – 4.00pm (includes 30mins paid lunch break)
  • Non contact: 1 hour 45mins 8.00-8.30am, 4.00-4.45pm plus 30mins non contact lunch break
  • Total contact time: 7 hours
  • Total non contact time: 1 hours 45 mins
  • Grand total hours: 8 hours 45 mins

Benefits:

• Staff are paid for staff meeting attendance (1.5 hours x 2 per term) and for attendance at AGM, parent information sessions, and orientations.
• Internal relief work is paid above award at the time and a half.
• Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2020 (VECTEA) hourly rate starts at $22.37 plus entitlements

Qualification:

• Students who have commenced a Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education are encouraged to apply.
• Nagle Pre-School is a supportive environment for students working towards the completion of their qualifications.
